Growing Brave Studio is committed to creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment where children feel supported, valued, and protected. Child safety and wellbeing are central to all aspects of our practice.
This statement reflects our commitment to safeguarding responsibilities and aligns with the principles of the NDIS Code of Conduct, child-safe practice expectations, and applicable Australian laws.

Growing Brave Studio ensures that anyone delivering supports:

Holds a current Working With Children Check (WWCC)

Understands their responsibilities under the NDIS Code of Conduct

Is committed to ethical, respectful, and professional behaviour

Maintains confidentiality and privacy at all times
Consent and family involvement

Parents or carers provide consent for children to participate in services

Families are encouraged to communicate openly about their child’s needs

Information shared by families is treated with care and confidentiality

Parents or carers are welcome to ask questions or raise concerns at any time
Responding to safety concerns
If a child’s safety or wellbeing is at risk, Growing Brave Studio will:

Respond promptly and appropriately

Take concerns seriously and act in the best interests of the child

Follow mandatory reporting obligations where required by law

Seek guidance from appropriate authorities or supports when necessary
Growing Brave Studio meets all mandatory reporting obligations under South Australian law. Where there are reasonable grounds to suspect that a child or young person may be at risk of harm, a report will be made to the appropriate authority in accordance with mandated notifier requirements. The safety and wellbeing of the child or young person is always prioritised.
Where concerns relate to conduct, behaviour, or service delivery, families may also refer to our Code of Conduct and Feedback & Complaints Policy.
Feedback & Complaints
Families are encouraged to raise any concerns, feedback, or questions about safety or wellbeing.
Concerns can be raised directly with Growing Brave Studio and will be handled respectfully, promptly, and without fear of negative consequences.
Information about external complaint pathways, including the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, can be provided upon request.
