Feedback & Complaints Policy

Growing Brave Studio values feedback and is committed to providing safe, respectful, and high-quality creative wellbeing supports. Feedback and complaints are welcomed as an opportunity to listen, learn, and improve.

This policy aligns with the principles of the NDIS Code of Conduct, including dignity, respect, choice and control, and freedom to raise concerns without fear of negative consequences.

Purpose

This policy explains how families can provide feedback, raise concerns, or make a complaint about services provided by Growing Brave Studio, and how those concerns will be handled.

Who can provide feedback or make a complaint 

Feedback or complaints may be made by:

  • Parents or carers

  • Children or young people (with support if needed)

  • Family members or advocates

Feedback may be provided at any time.

What you can provide feedback or complain about

This may include concerns or feedback related to:

  • Quality of supports or sessions

  • Safety or wellbeing

  • Communication

  • Professional conduct

  • Privacy or confidentiality

  • Any other aspect of service delivery

How to provide feedback or make a complaint

You can provide feedback or raise a concern by:

Complaints may be made verbally or in writing.

How complaints are handled

Growing Brave Studio will:

  • Listen respectfully and take concerns seriously

  • Respond promptly and fairly

  • Maintain privacy and confidentiality

  • Seek to resolve concerns in a calm, respectful manner

  • Keep families informed of outcomes where appropriate

Complaints relating to privacy, child safety, or professional conduct will be managed in line with our Privacy Policy, Safeguarding & Child Safety Statement, and Code of Conduct.​

Where possible, concerns will be addressed within a reasonable timeframe.

No negative consequences

Raising a concern or making a complaint will not result in any negative impact on access to services or supports.

Record keeping and improvement

Complaints and feedback are handled respectfully and used to support continuous improvement. Information is recorded only as necessary and in line with privacy obligations.

This policy is reviewed regularly to ensure it remains current and aligned with safeguarding and quality expectations.
