Growing Brave Studio is a creative wellbeing studio offering child-led, strengths-based programs that support confidence, emotional regulation, and participation through music, movement, drama, and play.

Is this therapy?
No. Growing Brave Studio provides creative wellbeing and capacity-building supports, not therapy, counselling, or clinical treatment. Our services do not replace allied health or mental health services.

Do you work with NDIS participants?

Do you also support private-paying families?
Yes. We welcome private-paying families seeking creative wellbeing supports for their child.

What ages do you work with?
Programs are designed for children of 3-12 years of age. If you’re unsure whether a program is suitable for your child, please feel free to get in touch.

What happens in Goal-Based Individual Session session?
Prior to the first session, parents or carers will be invited to complete an intake form to help ensure sessions are individualised and child-led. Sessions use creative approaches such as music, movement, drama, and play, with activities adapted to each child’s interests, goals, and energy levels. A balance of structure and flexibility supports predictability while allowing sessions to respond to the child on the day.

Does my child need a diagnosis to attend?
No. A diagnosis is not required to access services at Growing Brave Studio.

Can parents or carers be involved?
Parent and carer involvement is welcomed and discussed on an individual basis. Individual sessions are usually delivered one-to-one between the child and practitioner, as this supports focus, engagement, and relationship building. Ongoing collaboration with families helps support consistency and shared understanding.

How often do Goal-Based Individual and group sessions run?
Programs are typically offered in 5 or 10 week blocks, aligned with school terms. As all programs are individually tailored, flexibility is available to meet the needs of each child and family.

Where are Individual sessions held?
Sessions are currently delivered from a home-based studio in Salisbury. Where appropriate, Growing Brave Studio is open to liaising with schools or care settings to explore the possibility of delivering supports on site.

Where are Group sessions held??
Group sessions are currently delivered on-site in collaboration with school and care settings.

Is my child’s information kept private?
